Safe Nights Initiative
Purpose
TNT Safe Nights provides limited emergency hotel assistance for eligible individuals and families experiencing an immediate housing crisis. Approved stays are normally one to three nights and are generally limited to one approval per year, with rare exceptions reviewed by TNT leadership. Assistance is never guaranteed and depends on eligibility, documentation, available funds and hotel availability. TNT pays approved hotels directly. Safe Nights is not permanent housing, a housing voucher or a housing-placement program.
Request Process
Submit the Safe Nights intake or contact TNT for review.
Provide requested identification, contact information and brief documentation of the immediate need.
TNT reviews eligibility, safety considerations, funding and hotel availability.
If approved, TNT confirms the approved hotel and pays the hotel directly. Cash is not issued to the applicant.
TNT may provide verified 211, shelter, domestic-violence or housing-navigation referrals when appropriate.
